About Nadine

Creative and passionate art tutor

I graduated from the Royal College of Art in 2015 with an MA in Visual Communication and in 2013 I graduated from the University of Brighton with a First Class BA (hons) in Graphic Design.

Over the past few years I have gained experience of teaching in a wide range of environments. I have taught across a variety of art and design courses at Amersham College, teaching BTEC students, aged 16-19. Whilst at the Royal College of Art I gave workshops in secondary schools as part of a Reach Out RCA programme. In addition to this I assisted with an after school youth arts group at Hoxton Hall in East London.

I have worked for organisations supporting young people with learning disabilities, working within groups and one to one. I have extensive knowledge and experience of working with people with autism from age 3 years old upwards. I have worked within schools, day centres and within the home.

I feel very passionately that art is an important and vital form of expression. It can really help young people to build confidence and find their voice. For many a barrier to finding and exploring ones creativity is a fear of failing. I hope to be able to use my knowledge and experience to help young people excel and move forward in their own art studies and creativity.

Fine art is my specialism, but I have experience across painting, textiles, fashion, photography, sculpture and graphic design. I am a practising artist and work from my studio in central London. Over the past few years I have had several exhibitions in London and collaborated with fashion designers, performers and musicians. Most recently I exhibited in Milan as part of Milan Fashion Week.
