Young professional in the legal field, ready to help
Hi, my name is Mithila and I graduated from Oxford University in 2013 with an LLB (2:1) (or, as it is referred to by Oxford, a BA in Jurisprudence) . Since then I have completed the Legal Practice Course from the University of Law, and am currently training in a law firm to qualify as a solicitor. I am happy to provide further information about my qualifications and career upon further request.
Having taught English in China for a year, I've honed my skills in terms of conveying complex matters in simplified ways, and am able to adapt my teaching technique to suit my audience. I am also willing and able to teach Maths, Law, History, and Media Studies up to GCSE-Level, and beginner-level German.
Being from the legal profession, I have a keen eye for detail and will be more than happy to assist with proofreading and finalising essays, applications, and working generally on writing skills. I have also assisted numerous contacts with university applications, advice and personal statements.
In my spare time, I am an avid reader of fiction, my favourite authors being Arundhati Roy, Khaled Hosseini, J.K. Rowling (of course), and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and Ray Bradbury. I am contactable via my mobile phone, and available to work on weekends and some weekday evenings, as may be required.
