typically, my teaching method begins with ensuring a thorough understanding of the content before delving into exam practice. In a subject as intricate as Mathematics, mastery of the material is essential. Once the concepts are grasped, we focus on honing exam skills, as practice is paramount for success. Personally I am so adept with GCSE Maths past papers at this point that I have made a digital ebook explaining each question with working out for the last few years.
I prefer to teach 2 hour lessons. Once a week. This works best as the first 30 minutes of the lesson is for review of homework and what was taught the previous week and the remainder of the lesson allows us to move on to the next topic.
Homework is set with every lesson.
