I am a friendly, engaging and motivating tutor based in East London, offering Maths tuition from Key Stage 2 to A-Level across all exam boards.
After achieving Grade B in GCSE Maths and A-B in Maths and Further Maths at A-Level and completing a BEng(Hons) in Biomedical Engineering from City University London (high 2:1), I became a medical engineer where I worked few years as a support engineer. Then I have decided to move into teaching profession and I have completed PGCE in maths(Good) from edgehill university. Now I am working as a Maths lecturer in an outstanding academy and sixthform college and also offering part time tutions.
I encourage students to express themselves and enjoy their subject, allowing them to grow in confidence and do well in the exam. I have the ability to explain difficult concepts in an easy to understand way, and produce my own materials to support learning.
As a current maths lecturer I fully aware of the exam boards specification and able to direct the students with specific needs and work on weaknesses to do well in the exam.
My current set of students are from the full spectrum of ability, socioeconomic background and personality, and have very different objectives for what they want to get out of the tutoring experience.
Away from the classroom I regularly pay badminton and travel extensively.
