About Max
I started tutoring in order to explore teaching as a career path while I was doing my first degree. Since then I have found that passing on what I have learnt to children and adults to be one of the most rewarding experiences ever! After many years in Latin America perfecting my Spanish and many more studying History and Politics I am excited to start teaching new pupils!
I am a relaxed and thorough tutor who likes to use humour and stories to teach. I know that after a long day at school extra lessons are never fun! So I always try to ensure that the student actually enjoys the lesson. Plus there is nothing worse than a boring lesson when you are tired! However I am uncompromising in the quality that I expect from my students. I endeavour to get the best results from each student.
I am a great believer in understanding a problem or a situation rather than simply remembering it for an exam. My teaching style reflects this as I ensure that the student understands every step before moving onto the next.

He is very engaging and interesting and has a great ability of conveying information in an easily memerable way. After revising for both units of my AS government and politics exams I felt very knowledgable and comfortable going in to sit them. I look forward to working with him next gear for my A2 course.
