About Matthew
Hi, I'm Matthew and I graduated from Cardiff University with a BA first class honours in Spanish and English Literature. I am currently back at Cardiff University studying a Masters in Creative Writing. I love the Spanish language and am able to communicate at a high level from both my studies and my experience volunteering in Nicaragua before university. Part of my volunteer work was centred around education, and as lead translator for the British volunteers, I took on a secondary role of enabling my team's studies of both the Spanish and English languages, and so have experience of how to teach in a proactive, fun, comprehensive manner. As part of my course, I spent a year studying at the Universidad de Granada, which enabled me to foster my other passion of literature in another language. I am well-read in a wide variety of literary genres, spanning many movements/periods, and so feel comfortable in aiding your literary studies in either language!
