About Matt

All ages and abilities welcome! I have experience teaching pupils from 7/8 years old to 19/20.
I'm quite flexible so just get in touch and we can discuss times.
I believe in tailoring lessons to the student's abilities, end goals, and passions - I see little reason in forcing a Mozart piece when the student wants to play in a jazz band! All lessons will include as much music theory as necessary without making it dull.
With me, you'll get lessons designed specifically for you that are interesting, engaging and challenging - I have been trained to keep the attention of 30 students after all!
The guitar is my first instrument and I have been playing since 2000. I currently write and perform in a local rock band so my skills are always pushed to their limits.
I am also capable of teaching bass guitar, ukulele and mandolin.
I have a recent Enhanced DBS certificate and training with SEN.
I can do Skype sessions at a discounted rate.
