Inspiring teacher with fifteen years' experience - English tutor with Matt

Matthew taught English as a Second Language and Creative Writing for 6 weeks in the summer of 2018.

I am the Director of Summer School at Taunton School and have worked with Matt in 2018 and 2019. He is a very passionate and creative English teacher and a favourite amongst our students. His enthusiasm is infectious and he is able to adapt his lessons to include a wide range of abilities. He is reliable and always acts professionally with students and his colleagues. He has mainly taught older students at Summer School (12-17). He has also offered English Enrichment Activities such as Creative Writing and a unit on Myths and Legends. Matt has also taught English for Academic Purposes and Study Skills on our 10 day Pre-Sessional courses for GCSE, IB and A-Level students.
