About Matt
I am an assistant head of a high performing Mathematics department. I have been teaching for 10 years and my knowledge of the current GCSE is extremely strong.
I have been through several Ofsted inspections and have been graded outstanding, one report describes the learning in my lesson as “rapid” as “the teacher’s extensive subject knowledge was used to tailor activities so they were extremely well matched to students’ needs.”
I look forward to applying my passion to tutoring and helping people learn. I’m friendly and approachable and like to help pupils overcome problems and build their confidence.
If you are looking for a tutor make sure the one you choose has a good knowledge of the current curriculum - Maths at GCSE has changed a huge amount in even the last 3 years since the new format was introduced in 2017.
