About Maryam
Hi there! I am a third year medical student at UCL who has a passion for teaching and mentoring.
Integral to my teaching approach is ensuring that the student is engaged and active throughout the session and enjoying their learning experience. I initially assess the student’s knowledge on a topic and then work at their own pace to walk them through the topic. This is followed by some recall and questions to ensure that the topic has been sufficiently covered and understood.
As a medical student, I understand the tough process involved in applying to university. I am able to aid students with their university applications, particularly those aspiring for medical school. This includes BMAT and UKCAT practice as well as personal statement and interview advice.
