About Mary
I have achieved a First class degree in Biomedical Sciences in 2019 and I am currently doing my postgraduate (MSc) degree in Nutrition from King’s College London. Throughout the last 4 years, I have tutored students aged 10 to 18 years old both through one-to-one sessions and group sessions. I offer lessons in A Level, GCSE and KS3 Sciences (Biology and Chemistry) and undergraduate level Biology, Psychology and Pharmacology.
During my tutoring sessions, depending on the help needed, I will help you design revision plans and study techniques, as well as give you general support and motivation to complete assignments and meet your targets. I will tailor lesson plans according to your learning style, and I will be happy to prepare learning material for the pupil.
The satisfaction and the feedback I receive from my students is what fuels my passion for tutoring. I thoroughly enjoy teaching students and I am eager to meet new students and help with their journey. I am looking forward to teaching you!
Background:
I was raised in Italy and moved to the UK prior to my GCSE. I achieved 14 GCSEs A*-B, including English and Maths My A Level results are as follows: Biology A, Chemistry B, Psychology A.
I completed my undergraduate degree (BSc) in Biomedical Sciences at King’s College London with a 1st class. I will be completing my masters in Nutrition in summer. I am fluent in written and spoken Italian and Tamil, so I will be happy to provide tuition for these subjects too.
