About Martha
I have lots of tutoring experience with students from primary and secondary school. I've tutored in English, Maths, Non-Verbal Reasoning and History. I have students work through issues with dyslexia, apply for the 11+ exams and supported them in improving their grades at school.
I am friendly patient and approachable and aim to make all my students feel comfortable and relaxed. I allow my students to tell me what works for them so that sessions are as collaborative as possible. I ensure that every lesson has an outline and objectives, but I am also flexible as to the shape sessions take.
I'm a recent graduate from the University of Cambridge with a Bachelors in History. I received a starred first class degree and my undergraduate dissertation has been nominated for the Ellen McArthur Prize in Economic and Social History.
