About Mark
Hi!
I feel very fortunate to have had certain teachers in my life who made learning fun and inspired curiosity in me whilst making sure that I was focused on my academic targets at that time and I strive to pass that on to my students.
Throughout school, I played sport and sang in a band, so I can relate to the pressure so many students are finding themselves under trying to deal with so many commitments at once. Together, we can prioritise them and make sure that you achieve your goals.
My approach is completely goal-orientated. I will work with you to determine what your strengths and weaknesses are, what kind of learning style you are best suited to (e.g. visual versus written) and we can then set out targets that you want to achieve and set out a plan on how to achieve them in the time frame you need. Sessions can be orientated around specific topics, exam practice, general revision techniques, as well as lifestyle - what kind of changes you could be making to improve your studies and general well-being.

Perfect! Online tutoring worked so well
I was sceptical about online tutoring but it couldn't have worked better! Mark was very reliable, knowledgable and helpful and the online classroom was great. I would definitely recommend both Mark and this method of tutoring.

Mark has been tutoring my daughter for A level Biology. He has a good rapport with her and she feels the sessions are helping her with the understanding of this subject. He has a very good knowledge of his subject and explains things to her clearly and concisely. She has already made an improvement in her grades after a few sessions.
