About Maria
My name is Maria and I am a highly experienced, professional and approachable tutor. I have an international background and speak several languages; I am also familiar with many different styles of examinations (GCSE, IB, A-level, etc.) It gives me genuine joy to help students improve in their area of need, and I have many short and long term clients.
I recently graduated with a first class degree from Edinburgh University, majoring in English Literature. I am also experienced in tutoring English as a Second Language, General writing skills, Russian, History, History of Art, Music, Piano, Resume and University Admissions Essays, GCSE and IB exam preparation, and many other topics. For the past year I have worked on an online tutoring platform and received 100% positive reviews.
I am a professional musician with an acting background-- and can teach music and drama skills in addition to academic subjects.
