About Maria
I have 10 years of teaching experience in private lessons in Ancient Greek, Latin, Modern Greek, and Literature. I have classroom experience teaching in SEN schools in London. My love and enthusiasm in Ancient Greek and Roman culture from an early age led me to the Classical Studies Department of Greek Literature in A.U.T.H which gave me the opportunity to embrace these cultures and study Greek and Latin with the best. I have experience with students from all ages, with severe autism, Down syndrome, visual impairment, dyslexia and ADHD. My love and passion for Drama and Arts (especially Greek drama) made me try an alternative type of lesson, aiming to be pleasant for learners. My target is to make people love the Ancient Languages and cultures and appreciate the Greek and Latin heritage to Modern Greece and Europe.
I recently moved to UK and I am more than excited to offer my knowledge and passion to Londoners.
I am currently studying for my MA in Inclusive education and SEN at Roehampton University.
