About Maria
My name is Maria and I have been teaching for twenty seven years in primary classes. I’ve taught every year group in the primary age range. I specialise in phonics, Maths and English.
I have a French degree and spent a year in France.
I am available to tutor for Key stage one sats as well as Key stage two. Also I can tutor for the year one phonics screening as well as the year 2 resit. I have taught extensively in year 6 and year 2 and have lead children through tests and phonic screening.
I am also available to teach French up to GCSE level too.
I offer a wealth of experience and an aptitude to help and inspire children through being highly organised and creative in my teaching approach. I use a lot of songs and games to engage children’s learning.
In summary, as an experienced teacher I can help and support your child academically so that they can grow in confidence and knowledge.
I have a fully enhanced valid dbs. All teaching qualifications are available to view. All safeguarding documents are available too.
