About Marc
I have been teaching piano for the past 15 years both privately and in schools. I have a great passion for classical music and performance. I perform myself both with singers, instrumentalists and solo on a regular basis, produce and perform my own shows (the current one involves a cast of musicians and actors and recreates 19th century Parisian salons) and have done so for the past 15 years since graduating from college.
I enjoy mostly discussing and teaching interpretation of the great classical works to children and adults and offering them tools to execute such pieces on the piano. While I put much emphasis on disciplined, regular and though work I try to provide a relaxed, fun framework for pupils to explore and progress. While engaging with pupils who are curious and serious about learning an instrument, I get much satisfaction witnessing the progress in playing and music understanding through a variety of ages and levels.
