Making music understandable by a Practicing Musician
Whether you are an adult that is mystified by these 'spiders web' scrawlings on the music page or a child that wants to set off in the best possible direction, in a subject that fascinates you, I want to help you.
I am the daughter and granddaughter of two musicians and the daughter of two teachers. Both music and teaching have been lifetime passions. I have also committed my life to performing, having joined my first local choir at the age of 16, in 1972, and latterly was a member of the BBC Symphony Chorus for 26 years.
Today, I still perform regularly with the Royal Opera House Community Chorus.
When it came to choosing a career, I decided to use my people skills, keeping high quality music making for a 'serious hobby'.
Music and music theory tutoring is a great way to share the knowledge and experience I have picked up along the way.
