Lynn - Wantage - Physics

I have known Lynn for 16 years and believe she is committed to teaching, supporting and enabling students to perform to the best of their ability. She values each of her students and works hard to prepare for their sessions. Lynn helps her students to develop good revision skills and exam technique as well as giving them an understanding of the curriculum.
Lynn conducts herself in a calm, professional manner.

Mrs Nicolls is a fantastic tutor. She makes learning fun and finds the best way to work with each individual student. She is thorough on her preparation, ensuring she knows the intricacies of all specifications and teaches appropriately. She gives appropriate goals to each student and always gets the best from everyone she tutors.

I started with Lynn in February 2013 and I immediately began to understand the concepts and principles and she sparked an interest in the subject for me. . My grades went from U's and E's to Bs Again we used the revision guide and Lynn supplemented this with her own in depth notes. In preparation for the exams we used past exam papers
Each week with Lynn I gained confidence and my enthusiasm for Biology increased. I'm now going to university to study physiotherapy

started lessons with Lynn at the start of my A2 course after having gotten a U in AS biology. Lynn tutored me in A2 biology and I was also retaking AS biology in the same year. Lynn started helping me with biology at the start of my 2nd year of a-levels. I had the challenging task of sitting A2 exams as well as re-sitting all AS modules at the same time. Without the help of Lynn I would not have been able to cope with the huge workload and probably would have crumbled under the pressure. She helped build my confidence and helped me to organize my time efficiently

Lynn was my Biology tutor when I was in year 13, needing help after receiving a D in Biology AS level. She aided me to exceed this by getting an A in my Biology A level after retaking AS and studying for A2 within the same year,so teaches exam technique well, practising plenty of exam questions and going through them together to improve.

Everything I needed to know was explained clearly and I became of the links between each topic. This enhanced my understanding considerably.

Throughout AS and A2, I was given as many past papers and questions as I wanted which were then marked and we would then go through together.
I had been aiming for a B at A level biology which is what I got, and I don't think I would have managed without Lynn.
