About Lucy
A qualified maths teacher with a maths degree and six years experience of teaching all age groups, from year 7 up to A-level maths. Offering face to face or online tutoring.
I strongly believe that every student can be successful in maths and I am a firm advocate for making maths enjoyable for all. I provide clear explanations, meaningful and well thought-out questions and break things down so they are easily understood. I always check that the student understands fully before moving on. I am passionate about maths and I love teaching, and I will always listen to the needs of the student and adapt accordingly.

Perfect! Lucy made all the difference
Lucy is an excellent tutor. She has been tutoring my 17 year-old for the past 3-4 months during the period of school closure. He was about to give up Maths A-level after one school term but thanks to Lucy’s patience and encouragement, his understanding and confidence in the subject has been restored.
Lucy is knowledgeable and explains the difficult concepts very well. She is friendly and easy to talk to which is immensely important for an intimidating subject like maths.
