About Lucia
Hello! I`m Lucia, I`ve been teaching for 10 years beginners, intermediate and advanced level. I use to work privately at my studio/home and at some primary schools.
I`m specially a jazz drummer with a good teaching experience as well.
I attended the Conservatoire of Music studying classical percussions and piano as second instrument, after that I graduated in Jazz Drums getting a Master's degree at the Conservatorio Statale of Venice in Italy and another one in Milan (Italy) at the CPM with Giovanni Giorgi as teacher. I also have the diploma in theory and solfège and good skills in arrangement and composition. I love to compose and I'm very confident to use music softwares including electronic music.
I play mostly jazz music but I also play other many genres for work as funky, rock, latin, fusion, drum'n bass, r&b, popand many others. I'm very open minded and eclectic musically.
I work as session drummer and I have few projects of mine. I use to play gigs around since I was sixteen. At the moment I'm making a new album, that is coming soon, which includes original compositions written by myself and produced with Giacomo Maugeri, the music is a kind of electro-jazz reminding the sound of Mark Guiliana and Jojo Mayer.
I love to teach and I usually use to create a schedule to the students, listening to their tastes and adapting a personal plan good to get a great training which is never boring but always satisfying with good results.
