Throughout my education - in France and in Martinique - I followed classical piano lessons from many graded teachers. I gave concerts in solo, duo and a lot of chamber music recitals. Now I am really diving into Jazz, Pop and Rock music!
Aside from sharing my music with people, I realised that teaching them how to make music by themselves was really one of my favorite activity! So after graduating from the Jean-Philippe Rameau Conservatory in Paris, I started giving lessons myself.
My goal is to produce complete and independent musicians by encouraging holistic thinking and by bringing the imagination and aural at the centre of musical learning.
Beyond mastering the instrument, I prepare my students in many aspects of musicianship: Performing, Practice Strategies, Music Theory, Music History, Ear Training, Improvisation, Memorisation, Composition, Sight-Reading, Writing.
In fact, the way our lessons will flow will mainly depend of your goals, needs and musical background!
Who knows? Perhaps you just want to learn how to improvise freely and don't care about spending hours studying contrapuntal quantum theory!
I am experienced at teaching to both beginners and more advance players of all ages.
I am always searching for new practice strategies and learning tools, linking them to my teaching in order to stay up-to-date with the best methods.
For children and teenagers I usually use the Faber Piano Adventures Series as a complement for my teaching.
For adults, I use the practice book I wrote specifically for this kind of learners!

I am looking forward playing music with you!
