About Litsa
Hi, I am Litsa and I am a PhD candidate at Bart's Cancer Institute, studying pancreatic cancer and how we can improve treatments. I have experience in tutoring undergraduate students as well as GCSE students during science lab practicals.
I have a first-class degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Surrey and a Distinction Masters degree in Cancer Biology from Imperial College London. In addition, I have also spent time in Thailand, volunteering in teaching English to underprivileged children and teenagers, an experience that made me love teaching and sharing my knowledge.
I am based in West London and my work is in Central London so I'm flexible to travel. I will also be available via email and phone when needed.
I am passionate about science and I believe that when taught in the right way, it can be very interesting and easily understood by everyone. My aim is to make the subject interesting for the student, so that they are excited to learn.
