About Linda
I am a 39 year old Irish native. I have been teaching in Thailand and Japan for the past 5 years and am now studying my PCGE at the University of Warwick. I love teaching - I really enjoy working with children and I love to see them enjoying learning and having fun whilst they learn. I try to make my lessons creative and hands-on as I believe this is the way children learn best. Each child learns in a different way and so I try a variety of methods to see what works best for each child. I love reading and have a deep interest in phonics and teaching young children to read and in developing older children's interest in reading. I am dedicated and hardworking and always do what is best for the student - I love to see the child's confidence and pride growing when they achieve something they thought they couldn't do.

I have a Degree in English and Math from University College Dublin in Ireland. I also have a TEFL certificate and I have complete my ACCA exams in accountancy.
