About Li
Personal Description:
I am very passionate about languages and cultures. I am fluent in both Mandarin and English and have been teaching Mandarin for the last 9 years. My other big passions are travelling and learning all sorts of things new. I am looking forward to sharing my love of the Chinese language with you.
Teaching Experience:
I cover all four elements of language teaching syllabus, including listening, speaking, reading and writing. I have tutored students for the past 9 years, ranging from complete beginners, to GCSE students, A level students, HSK students and business professionals.
Tutoring Approach:
I am very passionate about helping students discover their own ways of learning and developing their own techniques. I believe in consistency in learning. A little bit everyday is proven effective in the long term for both academic and language learnings.

Extra speaking input for my son's IB Mandarin from Li has been excellent. My son who is very particular and doesn't take any prisoners is always very impressed. Li is an excellent, caring, patient and understanding tutor who always gives her best. Always well prepared and pitching with the the appropriate level of challenge to encourage my son to give that bit more. Li understands effective pedagogy fully - we recommend her unequivocally.
