About Lee

Tutoring at a Personalised Level

I am a current History BA Honours Degree student at the University of Sheffield with a particular interest in early modern history in England. My tutoring experience includes five years of employment as a CTLLS qualified Tutor supporting learners with GCSE English, Mathematics, Employability skills and European Computer Driving courses. The majority of my tuition has been delivered on a one-to-one basis, meaning that I am fully experienced with delivering a personalised learning experience, which suits the style of my clients. I have supported and guided hundreds of learners individually through their chosen qualifications, coaching them and advising them how to improve their skills, confidence and ultimately achieve their desired goals. In particular, my clients have always valued my coaching for its high-level inter-personal skills, confidence building and professionalism. In recent years, I have independently studied A-Level specifications for A-Level Classical Civilisation, English Language and Literature and History for my own studies. Due to my knowledge and experience in these subjects, I am now looking to pass on my knowledge and support clients in these areas.

My qualifications include a CTLLS qualification (Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector) and for learners struggling with Microsoft Office, I am also a British Computer Society accredited European Computer Driving Licence Expert, which demonstrates my ability to use high level Office skills, coupled with my experience teaching the subject. Furthermore, I also possess a Level 3 in English for Language & Literacy Teaching qualification which assessed my ability to communicate English Language and Literature skills at a GCSE level.

Experienced Tutor in English and IT

Written by Robert A
I worked alongside Lee in a Cambridgeshire County Council Adult Learning Centre until recently. Lee has a great depth and breadth of experience and is well qualified to provide tutor support and teaching to adults in his chosen subjects of English and IT. Lee has a warm and friendly personality and good communication skills which together enable him to develop an excellent rapport with his learners. As a result, even the most nervous of beginners develops in confidence from week to week with Lee's support and nurturing feedback to progress through their chosen programme of learning.
Lee is a commensurate professional. He maintains a good working relationship with fellow tutors and leads by example. A talented tutor who is constantly seeking to develop his own skills further, Lee
