About Leah
Having just completed my undergraduate degree in English and Comparative Literature at Goldsmiths, University of London, I have now secured a place as a Trainee Teacher at William Edwards Secondary School, in Stifford Clays. My official training will begin in September however I have been volunteering at the school since April as a teaching assistant and I have also independently taught a class of year 10's to gain early experience of what my training will entail. I am familiar with the English national curriculum, having watched and supported in lessons at all stages of KS3 and KS4 and so I am able to tutor in any of these areas.
Although the school I am training at does not have sixth form facilities for A-Level students, having studied English Language and Literature at A-Level only 6 years ago and having achieved A grades in both I feel that I am aware of the skills required to excel in these subjects and therefore I would be able to tutor in them successfully.
