About Lauren
I am a recent graduate of BA Hons English Language and Education from the University of Manchester.
My specialisms include Teaching English as a foreign language - specifying in fields of grammar, spelling and punctuation.
I have experience volunteering in schools in the UK as part of my university degree, as well as 5 months paid experience working abroad in schools and orphanages across Thailand and Indonesia (summer 2019, current full time employer). I have recently applied to an International Education Masters course at the University of Oxford, and i am therefore looking to get some further tutoring experience under my belt to improve my chances of acceptance.
My teaching style can vary dependent on the level of tutoring required. I have prepared lesson plans for students with little or no knowledge of the English Language, as well as for students of very-good AS & A-Level ability. I am a young, approachable professional who loves to work with children to encourage and inspire their love of education.

Lauren spent 5 months last summer (2019) as a head representative in our many camps across Thailand and Bali. Over this period, one of her many responsibilities was training customers to teach English in local schools and orphanages and accompanying with visits. Lauren has experience creating detailed and relevant lesson plans, presenting in front of large crowds and working with a range of different aged students.
