About Laura
I'm a friendly, helpful English graduate of the University of Nottingham. I achieved a high 2:1 in my degree (67) and picked up many skills during my study.
I have excellent communication skills and am highly empathetic when delivering explanations and advice to learners. Helping others to achieve their ambitions is my passion. I hope to develop my skills as I become a teaching assistant in the new year.
I have studied TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) so can help you to achieve your language goals. Language is as much about understanding the culture as understanding the grammar and technical aspects. I hope through speaking to me we will engage in cultural exchange.
I am also useful for any career queries you have and ready to help with CV building, job applications, and interview prep.
