• I achieved 12 A*s at GCSE and 2 A*s and 2As for A-Level.
My Experience

• I have extensive experience teaching Maths, English literature, Economics and History up to A Level standard.
• I am comfortable teaching advanced economics, philosophy and politics; these are the subjects I honed in specifically during my undergraduate degree and I will delve further into these subjects during my Master's degree programme.
• As a former pupil of Queen Elizabeth's Boys School in Barnet I am more than confident that I can help any ambitious student ace the challenging entrance exams.
• I am familiar with a variety of aptitude tests having sat the Oxford admissions exams.

Kishen was recommended by a parent of Natasha's (my daughter) friends. He was very friendly and easy to get on with. He helped Natasha gain more confidence in her writing abilities and even her teachers have noticed an improvement. We are waiting for the GCSE results day later this month, but she is confident she will get an A.
Would recommend him.Kishen was a excellent tutor. He helped me to achieve an A grade in English Literature when my predicted grade was a C. He guided me through the year with regular exam prep and support. He was patient and a very good explainer of hard to understand concepts.
Kishen Patel tutored me in GCSE Mathematics for 2 years. Before receiving tutoring, I was on track to achieve a B grade but thanks to Kishen's help I attained an A* in edexcel maths. He explains complex concepts clearly and is familiar with the syllabus and exam structure. I would highly recommend Kishen to any student looking to improve their performance at GCSE maths.
Kishen tutored my two sons, both for their 11+ exams (applying to Haberdashers Aske's Boys School, Merchant Taylor's, Queen Elizabeth Boys School and Watford Grammar Boy's School). He was very friendly, approachable, very easy to contact and always came well prepared. My son's both have a different style of learning, however he was able to adapt to both of them, and taught them in a way that most benefitted each of them. He was able to quickly recognise where both of my son's were struggling, and was able to come with some alternate ways to help them to learn the topic's.
Kishen taught me A level economics last year. We went to the same school and he was a couple years above me, my brother knew him well and suggested that Kishen should tutor me as he did well at economics. He cleared up any issues I had with the subject and had an emphasis on exam technique which I struggled with and believe the school weren't that good at. He was really helpful and I would recommend him.
