About Khalil
I tutor Maths and Physics from year 11 to undergraduate, I also tutor Science (GCSE). I recently graduated from the University of Bristol with a master's in physics achieving a first-class honours.
I have extensive teaching experience, most recently I worked at Westminster academy as a learning support assistant supporting students with SEN need inside and outside of lessons. I also have experience tutoring both a level and my undergrad students.
I am incredibly enthusiastic about Physics and am currently pursuing a PhD in computational physics. I hope to be able to instil the same passions for maths and physics into the students I teach and connect them to the weird and interesting world of physics beyond just their curriculum. There is a lot of elitism around maths and physics which make these subject seem scarier then they are. I hope to demystify these subject and instil a solid understanding in people of all abilities.

Perfect! SCIENCES & MATHS GCSE TUITION
I've actually booked Khalil for 2 subjects: Sciences GCSE and Maths GCSE.
My son sees him 2 continuous hours once a week. Khalil adapts his lessons depending my son's need and requests, so might have a week more Maths than Science and the week after the opposite.
Khalil is perfect, I only have positive things to say and will give more than 5 stars if I could.

I worked with Khalil in the last academic year. He supported me in science lessons. Khalil is a very bright person, bordering on genius. He worked with students of all abilities and was able to provide guidance at all levels. He is particularly good at taking a complex concept and breaking it down into manageable chunks. I would highly recommend him as tutor.
I have known Khalil for over five years during which time I have been his personal tutor. Khalil graduated from Bristol in 2021 with a first-class MSci degree in Physics.
Khalil was originally enrolled on the ‘Physics with Industrial Experience’ undergraduate degree programme but did not manage to secure a twelve month placement at the ISIS pulsed neutron and muon facility, located at the STFC Rutherford Appleton Laboratory on the Harwell campus in Oxfordshire, in time for spending his third year away from Bristol. Therefore he elected to transfer onto the standard four-year Bristol Physics MSci degree and undertake the third year of taught and laboratory courses appropriate to that course. However, he had still set his heart on spending a year away from Bristol and applied successfully to ISIS the following year. He suspended studies for one academic year (2019-2020) in order to gain work experience within the Neutronics Group, supervised by Dr Stephen Lily, supporting visiting national/international researchers with the setting-up and the running of their experiments.
During his final year, Khalil undertook his research project entitled ‘ Searches for New Physics with Machine Learning at the LHC’, with his academic supervisor Dr Henning Flaecher, in the Particle Physics group at Bristol. For this project he gained a first class mark. In addition to his research project which made up 50% of his final year credit points, he successfully completed taught courses in: Advanced Computational Physics, Theoretical Particle Physics, General Relativity & Cosmology, Advanced Quantum Physics, Relativistic Field Theory and Current Topics in Physics.
Khalil is a very personable individual with excellent communication skills and he is a pleasure to knowView more recommendations
