About Kerry
I have been a Teaching Assistant for the past year and have extensive experience working one to one with pupils to help prepare them for their exams. I spent my time as a TA/Tutor helping students prepare for their written subjects focusing of revision strategies and ways to pick out the key points for different essay questions. The subjects I specialise in are English/Humanities and also some areas of maths. The key is revision skills and understanding the best ways to tackle the questions at hand. Throughout my experience as a Tutor I have learned that in order to be successful in bettering your understanding of a subject you have to relax and be prepared to continue making mistakes until you better your understanding of the areas you find challenging. I have a BA Degree in English Literature which has given me experience working on the works of the greats tackling and examining the power of written words . If you are a language learner I can help you learn the basics and the more intense areas of the English Language focusing on reading/writing/listening and speaking. All of the lessons are planned around the needs of the pupils.

Kerry helped me prepare for my English Language GCSE paper 1 and 2. We spent two months focusing on the writers agendas and understanding the differences between writing styles.
