About Kelly
I have a degree in Primary Education and have been a qualified primary school teacher for 10 years. I have worked across every Key Stage, therefore I have an excellent understanding of the National Curriculum. Alongside teaching, I also carry out 1-1 tuition. I have worked in leadership so therefore I have a great understanding of teaching and learning.
I deliver tuition to 4-11 year olds in any subject area. With extra tuition a child can develop confidence within a subject and therefore make excellent progress in and out of school.
I tend to carry out an initial assessment to understand the areas the pupil needs to work on. I will also talk to the parents to see how they would like the extra tuition to benefit their child. With this information I will plan lessons tailored to the pupil's needs.
I have a friendly personality and make sure that my lessons are fun and engaging to ensure that children look forward to learning.
