I would love the chance to work as a tutor because it combines my love of my studies with my love for teaching.
Currently, I help to run weekly tuition classes for 4-15 year olds. Usually, I work with the younger children, helping them with their Maths and English. Through this experience I have proved myself to be patient and enthusiastic. I've adored my work with children so much the last year that I am considering becoming a teacher after university!
I would be keen to teach the subjects that I myself have recently taken in secondary school. I have a great passion for languages and my talents here have been recognised by my school. I was awarded the prize for Spanish in 2011 and for French in 2012. This year I have also been awarded the "Diana Wakeford Award for achievement in languages" for my achievement and enthusiasm in my studies! After achieving the top grades in this field at both GCSE level and A Level, I would love to help others do the same.
I have a keen interest in languages and plan to study French and Spanish at university.
I would also be keen to help students with History and English. Reading books is one of my favourite hobbies and I would immensely enjoy helping students read and interpret texts. I was awarded the Prize for English Literature in 2014 for my efforts in this subject. After achieving top grades in these subjects at GCSE level and at A Level I would love to help others do the same.
I believe my experience in UK qualifications, my love of teaching, and my kind and enthusiastic personality would make me a suitable tutor!
