From Summer schools and individual tuition to large school classes, I have taught Art and Photography in many different settings. Through my role as Deputy Head of House I have worked in pastoral care and with those with special educational needs. In schools I have taught Years 7 -13 Art and Photography and have a wealth of experience at KS3, GCSE and A level.
I guide portfolio preparation for foundation courses and degree, contextual studies for art essays and teach life drawing classes.
I have taught one to one art lessons for many years -my first student was in 2002 - and currently tutor both adults and children. My students have recently been selected for the exhibition by The Little Painting Challenge, have hosted their own art exhibitions and secured an Art scholarships.
For over 15 years I`ve taught Art and Photography in secondary schools and colleges. I was also a Deputy Head of House for 6 years. I teach one to one art lessons for adults and children. I usually tutor between five and seven students - we`ve had lots of fun learning together, and plenty of successes too with competition entries, exhibitions and scholarships.
I am creative, inspiring and determined both professionally and personally, and I have an excellent academic background. I specialise in oil painting and life drawing and have travelled Europe on drawing location trips.

Your confidence will grow enormously as you believe you can accomplish your goals, and we explore artists work for inspiration and to develop technique.
I promote an active and practical approach to artwork and always lead by example. We work together to meet coursework and exam requirements for your schools and colleges and use homework to enhance independent learning and support tutoring sessions.
Additionally I teach Martial Arts and fitness, and compete in Kickboxing.
