About Katherine
After graduating from Cambridge in 2014 with a BA in History, I went on to complete an MA in the History of Design at the Royal College of Art / Victoria & Albert Museum.
Over the past three years I've helped students prepare for 11+ exams, GCSEs, A-Levels and university admissions, with proven success. By providing a thorough grounding in content and encouraging a confident approach to the task, the majority of my students achieve - and often surpass - their academic ambitions.
I particularly enjoy teaching History, my own specialism, and have experience with a range of GCSE and A-Level exam boards, including OCR, AQA, and Edexcel. I am highly familiar with the most popular subjects, from the Tudors to the Cold War, in addition to the less-well covered, such as inter-war Britain and medieval Europe.
As a strong believer in the benefits of practicing exam technique and doing mock papers, I include additional marking and feedback within my hourly rate.
