About Katharine
Hello, my name is Katharine and I have been tutoring for one year. I hold a BA Hons in English Literature and Language and I am about to start my Master's degree in Linguistics with Queen Mary University in East London.
I currently work full time as a civil servant and I completed my BA whilst working in a demanding 24/7 job role. I feel that this not only reflects my commitment to ongoing personal development but also my unrivalled love for the English language. From an English Literature perspective I can provide expert help on essay structure, analysis of themes within set texts and critical appraisal of both verse and fiction. In regard to developing skills around the English language I can provide help with grammar, syntax and morphology along with expert knowledge of persuasive writing, point of view and differing linguistic styles.
Nothing gives me more joy in life than seeing people succeeding through studying and it would be a privilege for me to play a part in helping you or your child to reach and exceed their goals.
