About Kashta
I am a primary and secondary teacher. I have over 10 years of teaching experience and I have taught across the phases from KS2 to KS4 as well as adult learners.
As an Art teacher I love supporting students creativity and introducing new artist, techniques and themes to them to either support their assessment grades where we work toward meeting the assessment objectives or for personal growth and enjoyment.
Teaching primary stage is endless enjoyable too. While I love all the subjects taught in primary, I specialise in SATs, English, Grammar, Maths, EFL and Art as these areas can be key in boosting grades, focus, confidence and creativity as students progress. However, if you desire a mix of subject or a different primary range get in touch too.
My teaching style uses humour, pictures, audio-visuals, models and scaffolds, practical resources, discussion - talk for writing and low stake assessments that encourage and therefore uncover misconceptions that can then be rectified.
My aim is to engage and support your child by making learning enjoyable and memorable by stacking knowledge, revisiting new knowledge, plugging gaps and misconceptions through methods that will best support your child specifically.
