Experienced and motivated to ensure all my students get the most out of our tutoring sessions, making the sessions fun and engaging!

I enjoy learning, and as such I also want to get others to enjoy learning!

Learning a particular subject, learning from someone that is an expert or has lots of knowledge in a topic and inspires me to learn, learning something that is going to be useful to me in the future...those are the kinds of things that I want from a learning experience, and those are the kinds of things that I want to give to my students at every lesson.

I have experience in supporting students with their Psychology and Counselling/Psychotherapy studies, as well as in teaching Spanish and English in a variety of settings -- classroom and one-to-one.

I enjoy writing and reading, and I am very good and proficient at proofreading, grammar and writing exciting paragraphs even about more obscure topics!

I like to learn about the student before delving into teaching them, so I provide an initial assessment on the first lesson, followed by an exercise to help get us to know each other and what level to work from to start with.

The alphabet and how pronunciation works in Spanish or English is an entertaining and fun way to start!

PSYCHOLOGY, SPANISH AND ENGLISH TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a native Spanish speaker and a fluent English speaker (to native level). I have completed a TEFL course, and have recently qualified as a CELTA Teacher, which is accredited by Cambridge.

Karin Brunner

Written by Chris E
I am glad to provide a reference for Karin, who successfully completed CELTA at this centre.
Karin is a most professional, diligent and well organised teacher who was well liked by students and colleagues alike.

Furthermore Karin volunteered to work as an Assistant Teacher in class with one of our lower level classes and was very effective and reliable in this role.

I know of no reason why Karin Brunner should not have access to children or vulnerable persons.
