I’m Kameliya Konstantinova, an iconographer and artist from Bulgaria.
I graduated in 1999 from the University of Veliko Turnovo, Bulgaria, with an MA in Theology. I then went on to study a Bachelor’s degree in Iconography. During this time I also spent four months at the Bossey Ecumenical Institute in Switzerland. In 2009 I moved to the United Kingdom.
My artwork is focused on Iconography. I predominantly work in the Byzantine style. Many of my icons are with private collections in Bulgaria and elsewhere abroad but I have recently completed a publically accessible installation of 5 icons at Manchester Cathedral.
I also have a passion for illustrations, particularly for children. I have provided illustrations for a book of children’s poems and for MOZAIK 15 (Vol. 10, 2005/1), Ecumenical Journal of World Student Christian Federation, Europe Region.
