About Juliet

Social sciences, study skills and time management

I share strategies to help teenagers and young adults prepare for exams by learning how to: overcome procrastination and perfectionism; manage distractions; plan homework & revision schedules; boost memory; write and edit assignments; and manage stress before, during and after exams.

I've worked for over 20 years as a university lecturer (London and Open University), mentor, writer and educational consultant and am a certified coach with expertise in time management and organising skills. I've taught social sciences (politics, sociology, economics, philosophy, international relations) to students from diverse backgrounds, including many with disabilities or English as an additional language.

In addition to my academic background, I'm a certified coach, running workshops and working with individuals in person and by phone/skype.
I'm also an acclaimed speaker and writer, often featured in the media. I've written 2 books: Being More Productive (published in Sept 2017) and Clearing Your Clutter (out in March 2018).

Helping students

Written by Henrietta G
Juliet helped my son with his organisational skills leading up to starting revision for his GCSE's. He found it very helpful and I'm sure had something to do with how well he did in the end! He certainly felt more motivated and inspired after the session. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
