About Julie
I have been in teaching for 30 years full-time and then part-time. I have worked as a one-to-one tutor for 7 years. I am also an examiner with both OCR (GCSE English language and GCSE English Literature) and with CIE (Singapore O'Level English Language). I have been working as an examiner on and off for 12 years.
I work mostly with students taking their GCSEs - I qualified in teaching in further education. However I have just finished tutoring a boy I have worked with since he was eleven.
I am happy to travel to students within a radius of 20 miles.
I am happy to support students with work in their subject area but also with study skills such as essay writing, spelling and grammar as well as revision techniques. I am happy to offer support across the range of subjects listed
