I currently am the oboe tutor at London College of Music and teach the piano at Blüthners Piano School.

Rate for lessons are:
£35 ph for Beginners to Grades 1-2;
£40 ph Grades 3-6;
£50 ph Grades 7-8;
£60 ph Diplomas

I suggest the following lesson times (Instrument and Theory)
4-5 year olds 30 mins p week;
6- 12 year olds 45 mins p week;
13 year olds -adults 60 mins p week;

I studied oboe and piano as a joint 1st study whilst at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

I am very musical and have a natural ability to enthuse and inspire students to create music they often did not know was possible to achieve, as well as being very effective in correcting technical faults quickly, so that their playing is less laboured – becoming more effortless and enjoyable.

I play the oboe professionally as a freelancer with orchestras and am a member of the Lonarc Oboe Trio and Lonarc Wind Ensemble and Wind Quintet.

She is great

Written by Banu S
Judy has been teaching piano to my daughter more than a year now. Since she started my daughter’s music skills are improved a lot. Unlike the previous experiences, she is not just memorising but reading and understanding the notes, rhythms and pieces. She now can play new music easily, even she is writing small pieces by herself. I am all thankful to Judy’s passion for music and her strict but friendly way of teaching.
Getting ready for Grade 3 exam

Written by Lisa H
Judy has taught both my children, and is the only teacher I'd ever want for them (and for myself too!). She is very passionate about music and is an engaging and enthusiastic. She employs a very holistic approach, building an incredibly solid foundation across both practical and theory. She is supportive, nurturing and encouraging and has takes the time to get to know the students as individuals and to understand what makes them tick. She is an excellent teacher and I'd highly recommend her.

Judy Proctor

I have known Judy for just over 2 years and have been taking weekly piano (theory and practical) lessons with her during this time. I am a mature student of music with no previous experience in piano. Judy has a wealth of experience, both as a musician and as a teacher, and has helped me progress with confidence through the various ABRSM exams I have taken so far. This has given me great confidence to persevere in my study of the piano. She knows my needs and is continually focusing on very creative ways to teach me piano and introduce me to the world of classical music. She has recognised my ability in singing and is encouraging me to take this up in conjunction with my study of the piano. I thoroughly enjoy my lessons with her and would recommend her to any student of any age, background and capability. A real pleasure and joy to be taught by Judy.
I am taking my ABRSM exams.
