Having taught in some of the most selective schools in the country (Haberdashers, City of London Boys, Dulwich College) for the past 15 years, and worked as an Examiner at both GCSE and A level, I know what it takes to develop a comprehensive understanding of Mathematics.
My students have consistently achieved outstanding results – last year, my GCSE class secured 23 A* grades (out of 24) and a number of students in my A level Maths and Further Maths classes achieved 100% across all modules, covering Pure, Mechanics and Statistics.
As an Oxbridge and Overseas Admissions Director, I have helped hundreds of students get into the world's top universities, from Cambridge (where I studied) to Oxford, Imperial, Harvard, Yale, MIT, Stanford and Princeton. I have also coached students for Mathematics competitions from the UK Maths Challenges up to the International Mathematics Olympiad.
I don't just work with born mathematicians, however. The key to success is finding a way of looking at Mathematics that works for your child. I find the motivational triggers that spark their interest and take a creative and fun approach. I have worked in film and music, as well as a psychologist - I aim to build an individual narrative around Mathematics that works for them and inspires your child to learn.
