I am a final year PhD student in Medicine and Health Sciences at The University of Nottingham. My background is in Medical Physics, with a First class MSci Honours degree from the same university.
I am a communicable and highly motivated individual with a passion for teaching the natural sciences. My studies combine mathematics, physics and chemistry in both a practical and clinical setting, where I have hands-on scientific experience in addition to regular patient interaction. Additionally, I have undertaken various short-term teaching, home tutoring and public lecturing work in the past.
I always aim to first identify what aspects of the subject area could benefit the most from tutoring, ensuring each session is tailored to address the individual needs of the student. My style of teaching blends structure and encouragement with a casual tutor-student relationship - I want those I teach to not only succeed, but to have fun doing so.
It is my firm belief that everyone has the potential to enjoy and succeed in their studies, and I take pride in helping others realise that potential.
