About John
Spanish is one of my passions. I have been speaking Spanish now for nearly 16 years and have GCSE and A level qualifications in the subject. I travel whenever possible to Spain and have a flat in the Alicante area.
I started learning Spanish when I was 40 years old after a holiday in Spain. We had a problem with transport to the airport and after much gesticulating our Spanish neighbours offered to take us to the airport. A the time, I spoke no Spanish and they spoke no English. It was extremely embarassing and when I got back to England I decided that that type of thing was never going to happen again. That was the start of my adventure learning Spanish and it has not stopped to this day.
As a non-native speaker I fully understand the difficulties that arise when learning Spanish and can give my wealth of experience to a learner.
I can help with all aspects of Spanish ranging from holiday Spanish to A level.
I am very flexible on times so please contact me and we can arrange a convenient time for you.
