About Joe
I am an incoming PhD student in Cell Biology at the MRC-LMB, University of Cambridge, having previously achieved a 1st class integrated Masters degree in Biomedical Science at the University of Warwick. I have over 400 hours of tutoring experience over the past 5 years in all the GCSE Sciences and A-level Biology and Chemistry. I take a calm approach to tutoring, and make sure the student fully understands everything before I move on to a new topic. I employ exam-style questions frequently and plan very interactive sessions to ensure the student takes away everything they possibly can from the lesson ! I frequently change and improve my teaching style and alter it in various ways to cater for individual students to ensure that the student's needs are specifically met, and I encourage students to ask any questions they have to maximise their understanding of the topic!
