About Jennifer
My name is Jennifer and I am a friendly and enthusiastic teacher.
I have an advanced certificate in biomedical science and am a qualified secondary school science teacher through the Teach First programme, currently teaching AQA science in a Secondary School. My specialism is Biology, but I also teach Chemistry to GCSE level, and all sciences at KS3 level.
I have experience both abroad, and in England of teaching primary and secondary school aged children, and adults in a range of settings. These include main stream school, special educational needs school, international school, local Chinese school, summer camp, private 1:1 tuition and small group classes.
I believe in delivering lessons in a way that is relevant to the learner. Focusing on developing an engaging context helps the lesson content to stick, makes the process more enjoyable, and helps to build self-confidence.
