About Jaylee
Hello, My name is Jaylee Ali.
I grew up in Peckham, and became the first person from my secondary school to attain a place at Oxford University to study Geography. This place was given due to a passion for Geography which was built by my parents and teachers.
During my time at Oxford University in 2015 I taught in Wyvil Primary School and Centres for Children with Speech and Language Impairment and Autism. This was for short periods in my 5 week break from university.
After graduating in 2015 I became a Geography teacher at Haberdasher's Askes' Knights academy where I taught year KS3 yr7-yr9, KS4 GCSE and KS5 A-level Geography with my students attaining high levels of success in this period.
I became a Geography teacher in order teach in a way that would instil a passion for Geography and allow students from all backgrounds to achieve academically.
I believe that the best way to do this is to make a lesson interesting fun and relevant to the students in question. I am very patient and encouraging whilst making the subject engaging and inspiring in a way that it may not seem in the classroom.
Here is a list of all the subjects I teach:
A-level Geography, GCSE Geography, GCSE Maths and GCSE Science, Music Production and mixing and mastering.
I can provide lessons at client's home, my home, public places, parks, cafes, library wherever you would most like.
