About Jana
I am currently a first year studying genetics BSc with Industrial Experience at the University of Manchester. I am of Spanish Nationality and bilingual in Spanish and English. I have also been playing the piano since the age of 3 and I gained my ABRSM Grade 8 piano at the age of 11.
I was self taught during my A Levels and for my SATs, this was a learning curve for me and I gained a lot of skills like time-management, how to test my own knowledge, note-making, how to make learning as fun as possible, and most importantly how to motivate myself to work to reach my goals. These are all skills I intend to apply with my students.
I tutored young children from ages 5-10 in Spanish and Piano from 2014 to 2017 and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I am well-organized, self-reliant, resourceful, punctual individual that is passionate about helping people reach their full potential. I find it extremely rewarding seeing my students progress.
